Industrial troubleshooting: mechanical, electrical and control

A production line stops or drifts. We start by qualifying the situation.

Our approach

What we actually do

Your machine stops, a fault returns or the source of the problem is still unclear. Describe the situation: we clarify the scope, response conditions and information required for diagnosis.

Use cases and references

Illustrative scenario
Line down, cause unknown
Production is stopped and the fault origin is unknown. The diagnosis checks sensors, drives, PLCs and mechanical components, then documents findings and actions.

Illustrative scenario
Machine with no source code left
Old installation, unavailable builder, undocumented program. An inventory of available source files and access comes before any takeover or modification.

Frequently asked questions

How fast can you respond when a production line is down?

Initial response within 4 hours from 07:00 to 19:00, every day. For an accepted urgent request in French-speaking Switzerland, remote or on-site intervention within 48 hours, subject to access and safety constraints. This does not guarantee restoration of service.

Do you only handle automation faults, or mechanical and electrical too?

The diagnosis can cover mechanical, electrical and control systems. The exact scope depends on the installation, required authorisations and available access.

Our fault is intermittent, it never reproduces in front of our maintenance technician. Can you still handle it?

An intermittent fault requires reliable evidence. We review history, alarms, production conditions and available measurements before defining useful tests.

We have an old machine with no documentation or diagrams left, and the builder no longer exists. Can you still take it on?

Feasibility depends on access, protections and equipment condition. The work starts with an inventory of the source files, backups, diagrams and versions that are actually accessible.

Once the line is back up, how do we make sure the fault doesn't come back?

A restart does not prove that the cause has been removed. We document the findings, actions performed and any additional corrections to plan.

Can we just get a one-off repair without signing a maintenance contract?

A one-off intervention can be proposed after reviewing the request. A maintenance contract is not automatically required.
