Regulatory and contractual requirements: applicability must be assessed for the operator, installation and contracts. A European customer's requirements must be checked in its documents, without assuming an automatic NIS2 obligation for every Swiss site.
OT attack surface: legacy PLC equipment, exposed SCADA supervision, insufficiently hardened remote access. Concrete operational risk.
Operational continuity: testing, downtime windows, access and rollback procedures must be agreed before work starts.
Energy optimization: cost and CO2 pressure. Optimization opportunities exist but require fine instrumentation and analysis.

We review available data from meters, controllers, historians, BMS or SCADA. Scoping defines missing measurements, changes to assess, responsibilities and the verification method. An OT audit can complement this work with an authorised scope, agreed deliverables and duration. Work specific to power plants or electrical distribution requires a separate assessment.

How do you scope an OT cybersecurity audit?
Scoping specifies equipment, authorised access, operating constraints and requirements to review. The proposal sets duration and deliverables, such as a network map, gap analysis and action plan. Active tests require explicit agreement on their scope and conditions.
Are you IEC 62443 certified?
The founder's CAS is an individual qualification. It does not constitute IEC 62443 certification of Vanguard or an installation. The engagement defines the requirements to assess and the evaluation method; product or system certification is a separate process.
Can you review our site's cybersecurity requirements?
We can prepare an assessment and technical action plan within a scope agreed with your CISO and CIO. Applicable obligations and contractual requirements are assessed separately. The audit does not constitute certification or a compliance guarantee.
