Our approach

What we actually do

You have a machine installed or a signed project in Switzerland, but no local technician. Vanguard Systems works on site in French-speaking Switzerland as an extension of your team: document review, installation, commissioning, inspection, physical troubleshooting, replacement of identified components and maintenance under your procedures.

Your remote support team retains control of diagnosis, software, parts, the manufacturer's warranty and modification decisions.

Scope, access, training and responsibilities are agreed before the first intervention.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work in Switzerland on behalf of a foreign manufacturer?

Yes, as a local technical service provider under a contract defining the machines, sites, authorised work and any use of the Vanguard name. We do not automatically become the manufacturer's importer, distributor, warranty provider or regulatory representative.

Who remains responsible for diagnosis and modifications?

The manufacturer retains final diagnosis, source software, process parameters, parts, the manufacturer's warranty and approval of machine modifications. Vanguard prepares and carries out the approved field work, records its actions and reports observed deviations.

What is required before the first field visit?

We start with a paid document review and technical briefing for each machine family. Access, backups, safety procedures, escalation contacts, available parts and intervention limits must be agreed before travel.

Do you offer a guaranteed response time?

A response or on-site arrival time is only agreed for a defined scope, region, service window and installed base, with an annual minimum or retainer. A one-off intervention does not include an implied SLA.

Can you provide preventive maintenance for an installed base?

Yes, when the machines, sites, frequencies, OEM procedures, training needs and responsibilities are documented. The manufacturer remains responsible for its instructions, parts and design or safety corrections.

Do you act as a Swiss authorised representative for medical devices?

Not under this service. Acting as a Swiss authorised representative, importer or regulated distributor requires separate legal qualification and a specific agreement. Local technical support does not constitute acceptance of those obligations.
